We debated about what to name this group and this blog, finally settling on Amarillo TG in the hopes of giving people a definite idea of our locale and to make it easy to find us online. What we do not want, however, is to give anyone the impression that participation is limited to residents of Amarillo.
To all you TGs throughout the Texas panhandle and the high plains region, we want you to know that this group is for you and we welcome your participation, whether it be online or in person. The nice thing about Amarillo is that it is centrally located in our region, enabling us to attract members from a large geographic circle. Another nice thing is that it also gives gurls from other, smaller towns a good place to escape the confines and worries of home by visiting a nearby city, a city large enough to absorb your presence without undue attention. Whether you live in Canyon, Plainview, Lubbock, Vega, Clovis, Perryton, Dumas, Borger, Pampa, Canadian, Elk City, Childress, Shamrock, Clarendon or points beyond and in between, you really should get involved in Amarillo TGSG. We’ve heard from gurls as far away as Abilene and Albuquerque and OKC, and if they are interested, you should be too.
So do us and yourself a great big favor and get involved. You’ll be so glad you did. We don’t meet often enough to be a burden, gas is more affordable again, and besides, you and your significant other will enjoy getting out of town and having a break from the old routine.
